Aleksander Siemaszko

Head of European Countries Unit, Department for International Trade, Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology, Warsaw

Aleksander Siemaszko leads the European Countries Unit, tasked with managing bilateral economic diplomacy with EU/EEA Member States as well as accession countries at the Polish Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology. Prior to that he served as an advisor in the European Parliament, working on energy policy and Common Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union. He also worked as a guest lecturer at University of Social Sciences and Humanities and teaches courses at the Tax & Customs Academy of the National Revenue Administration. Aleksander is a College of Europe and Univewrsity of Warsaw alumnus, currently pursuing a PhD at the Warsaw School of Economics. He serves as a member of supervisory board of Academy of European Careers, an NGO focused on promoting the awareness of the importance of EU integration amongst young professionals and graduates
